Since I’ve started my career as a Psychologist in Human Development I’ve always
been very intrigued and interested in organizational development and
change processes combined with group dynamics and individual
behavior.
The main driver in my work is finding, through
initiating development initiatives, the best solution to the
following question: How can Human Resources in the best way
contribute to a higher client satisfaction and organizational result
by, in the most effective and engaging way, use the human potential
in the current (or to-be) organization?
I’ve started my
career 11 years ago at a small consulting firm specialized in leadership development and coaching. After two
years I joined Accenture Financial
Services - Human Performance with as specialism: Change Management &
Organizational Design .
When I realised that the development of effective human performance
is my great passion I switched to the ABN AMRO to start as an HR Strategy and
Development consultant .
In my first assignment I focused on the development and
implementation of the core values. In my next assignment as program
manager I was responsible for the Individual Performance Management
in the Netherlands as part of the Strategic Performance
Management process
. After that I continued this
role at the headquarters where I was responsible for the PM process
worldwide. I really enjoyed working in an international and
multi-disciplined team. In the above described role I gained
experience in developing and implementing sustainable change
solutions. Before the consortium took over I facilitated for
Barclays the Cultural Due Diligence to
get an insight in the match of the two financial institutions. In my
final project at ABN Amro I was as change manager responsible for
the integration of the two HR organizations Fortis-ABN Amro
responsible for all the change interventions and cultural
integration
. When the nationalization of ABN Amro had become a fact I decided that it was time to follow my own path in doing the thing where my passion lies and in which I can use my expertise and my talent to build, engage and inspire people. Putting people at the heart of the organization….
